Impacto de las intervenciones no farmacológicas en la progresión del Alzheimer: una revisión integradora

Resumen

Esta revisión integrativa busca analizar el impacto de las intervenciones no farmacológicas en la progresión de la Enfermedad de Alzheimer (EA), centrándose en estrategias como la estimulación cognitiva, el ejercicio físico, la dieta y las terapias alternativas (musicoterapia, mindfulness). A través de la revisión de artículos científicos publicados, se abordó la efectividad de estos enfoques, los mecanismos biológicos subyacentes y las implicaciones para la calidad de vida de los pacientes. Los resultados muestran que, aunque las intervenciones no farmacológicas muestran resultados positivos, se necesitan estudios más sólidos y a largo plazo para un análisis más concluyente.
