Abstract

Gestational hypertension is one of the most prevalent obstetric complications, representing a significant risk to maternal and fetal health. The clinical management of these pregnant women requires a coordinated and integrated approach, capable of ensuring safety, quality, and effectiveness in care. Objective: To analyze the impact of the multiprofessional team on the clinical management of pregnant women with gestational hypertension, highlighting its contribution to improving care and reducing maternal-fetal risks. Methodology: An integrative literature review was conducted, including quantitative and qualitative studies, systematic reviews, experience reports, and institutional guidelines, selected based on specific inclusion criteria and evaluated by independent reviewers. Results: The multiprofessional approach promotes adequate blood pressure control, prevention of maternal and fetal complications, adherence to prenatal care, and improvement of the pregnant woman's quality of life. Collaborative strategies enable continuous monitoring, psychological support, nutritional guidance, and efficient coordination of health resources, contributing to safer, comprehensive, and humanized care. Discussion: The integration of different professionals strengthens clinical care, optimizes care flows, and improves gestational outcomes. Conclusion: Multiprofessional care is essential for the effective management of gestational hypertension, promoting positive clinical outcomes and maternal-fetal well-being.
