More than 8,400 species of amphibians are known in the world, with Brazil being the country with the greatest diversity of this group, with the anuran order being the most diverse. Anurans are popularly known as toads, frogs and tree frogs. The objective of this work was to carry out a survey of the anuran fauna occurring in the countryside of Pernambuco. To this end, a systematic bibliographic review was carried out. In total, 41 species were described, distributed in 19 genera and 10 families.
